Asparuhovo Flash flood
Our colleagues in Bulgaria have been distributing food parcels for us to the 100 most needy families who were affected by a flash flood in an area of Varna called 'Asparuhovo'.
There was a 2 metre high wall of water decended down the valley, many people lost their homes or the walls and all their possessions.
Many are still in temporary accommodation, some are rebuilding but many had no insurance.
The Government has given some help but nothing has been received from the EC.
